Tamarix Law

We are thrilled to introduce our quarterly webinar series, Lawyers Without Courtrooms! As a team of solicitors specializing in unconventional fields such as Health and Entertainment law, we have met many law undergraduates and young lawyers who feel uncertain, fearful, or lost simply because they do not enjoy litigation. Our founders understand this struggle firsthand and often wish a platform like Lawyers Without Courtrooms had existed during their own studies. This initiative aims to provide guidance, insight, and support for those exploring alternative legal careers beyond the courtroom

Lawyers Without Courtrooms is a quarterly online webinar series designed to provide insight, guidance, and clarity for law students and recent law graduates who wish to practice law outside the traditional courtroom setting. Each session will feature guest speakers who have built reputable legal careers in various fields outside of litigation.

For our first session, we are pleased to have Patsy Mokungah as our guest speaker. Patsy Mokungah is a passionate and results-driven legal professional with a strong background in corporate compliance, dispute resolution, and policy drafting. A graduate of Afe Babalola University and a member of the Nigerian Bar, she has built her career on finding practical and innovative legal solutions beyond the traditional courtroom setting. Currently serving as the Legal and Compliance Manager at SYNLAB Nigeria Limited, Patsy has worked extensively in contract negotiation, risk management, and corporate governance. Her experience spans alternative dispute resolution, corporate governance, and legal risk assessment.

Patsy is passionate about helping lawyers see that there’s more to a legal career than just litigation. She believes that lawyers can make a real impact by stepping into roles that blend law, business, and strategy—whether in compliance, risk management, or dispute resolution. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others to think beyond the courtroom and explore new, fulfilling ways to use their legal skills to solve real-world problems.
