The team at Tamarix Law LP is led by Janet Temlari Gapsiso, Managing Partner and Head of the Entertainment Law practice. Janet, a graduate of Afe Babalola University and a member of AIPPI, has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, starting as a Talent Manager and now running Lariscafe.org, a platform for creative legal education. Nkasike Gbana Abu, Founding Partner, is an expert in health law with a background in the beauty industry and legal consulting for African entrepreneurs. Both are passionate about building sustainable, legally sound businesses in Nigeria
Our Team
Janet Temlari Gapsiso is the Managing Partner at Tamarix Law LP and the Head of its Entertainment Law practice. She is a graduate of Afe Babalola University and a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
In the Entertainment Industry, she started her career as a Talent Manager and now runs lariscafe.org, a media platform for Creative Legal Education.
She is also the National Head of Legal for the Creative Industry Professionals Association.

Nkasike Gbana Abu is a founding partner and Head of Health Law at Tamarix Law LP bringing over a decade of experience as a content creator and business owner in the beauty industry. She is a graduate of Afe Babalola University and completed a Master from Baze University with a focus on Health Law. Formerly Head of Legal at AWP Network, she was involved in training entrepreneurs to scale up their businesses and supply retailers such as Shoprite and Miniso. She is passionate about building sustainable and profitable African businesses with a strong legal structure.
